Contract Sales Manager (2-Month Contract) Holiday Inn, Atlanta Location: Atlanta, GA Contract Length: 2 Months (Full-time contract) Start Date: Immediate Overview Holiday Inn Atlanta is seeking an experienced Sales Manager on a short-term contract to drive revenue, re-engage key accounts, and stabilize the active sales pipeline. This role is ideal for a hands-on hotel sales professional who can plug in quickly, build momentum fast, and deliver measurable results within a compressed timeframe. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of a defined corporate and group portfolio; re-establish relationships and uncover short-term wins. Generate new business through proactive outreach, site tours, and local market prospecting. Manage incoming leads, respond quickly, and convert at a high rate. Support execution of sales strategies across corporate, SMERF, and group segments. Prepare weekly activity reports, pace updates, and forecast adjustments. Collaborate with Revenue Management and Operations to ensure smooth conversion and service delivery. Represent the hotel at local events, CVB functions, and key community touchpoints when needed. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of hotel sales experience, preferably with IHG or select-service brands. Strong understanding of the Atlanta market and surrounding demand drivers (preferred). Demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly and work with minimal guidance. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and closing skills. Organized, metrics-driven, and comfortable with aggressive timelines. What Success Looks Like Re-activated accounts producing within the 60-day window. New local business secured and added to the pipeline. Improved response times, conversion rates, and forecasting accuracy. Strong alignment with brand standards and hotel leadership.
